The Shenandoah Valley Spay/Neuter Clinic is committed to ending the euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs. Our experienced and compassionate surgical team provides high quality, low cost spay and neuter services. As we specialize exclusively in this field, our staff is exceptionally skilled at performing spay and neuter surgeries. We utilize the highest standards of care to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet during his or her stay at the Clinic. The Clinic also offers low cost vaccinations and other additional services at the time of surgery, as well as a transport unit, low cost Wellness Clinics and a Pet Food Pantry.

The Clinic, a 501(c) 3 organization, is open to everyone regardless of income or place of residence.

We are committed to ending the preventable euthanasia of cats and dogs in the Shenandoah Valley. An integral part of achieving this mission has been underway since 2005; nearly 60,000 animals have been spayed or neutered at the Clinic. In addition, over 45,000 rabies vaccines have been given, thus helping to ensure public health and safety.
 
The Clinic follows the Humane Alliance model – nationally recognized for the quality of its clinics. SVSNC provides services to thirty rescue groups and shelters, as well as members of the public. In 2009, the SVSNC spayed and neutered 14,339 cats and dogs. Nearly 60,000 surgeries have been performed since inception.
 
SVSNC is currently staffed by 2 full-time and 2 part-time veterinarians, 4 licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, administrators, a canine behaviorist, and animal care technicians with many years of experience in the animal care field.
